Peters Signature Homes, Inc. was formed in 2026 as a dedicated luxury spec-home company. The company is new; the people behind it are not. Its founders come from generations of family work in homebuilding, design and real estate.

Peters Signature Homes, Inc. was formed for one purpose: to develop high-end speculative residences and offer them for sale. It does not take custom commissions, renovations or build-on-your-lot work, and it never will — that is a different business, run by a different company.

The company brings a defined model, a resolved design point of view and an exclusive design firm.

Generations behind it

The founders come from a family that has worked in homebuilding, design and real estate across generations. That is the background the company is built on: an understanding of how houses are actually assembled, how design decisions hold up over time, and how a property transaction is conducted properly.

Generations of building, design and real estate experience sit behind the company. That experience belongs to the individuals who founded it and is stated as background only — it is not an operating record, a warranty, or a credential of Peters Signature Homes, Inc., which began operating in 2026.

Nicholas Peters is President and Co-Founder of Peters Signature Homes, Inc., leading the company’s luxury spec-home program across the Charlotte area. A North Carolina general contractor holding an unlimited license classification, he takes a hands-on approach to construction — combining business leadership with close attention to craftsmanship, project execution, and the finished experience of every residence.

Nicholas works with architects, engineers, designers, and construction professionals to carry each Signature residence from plan to completion. His approach emphasizes clear communication, careful coordination, and lasting quality, from the earliest planning decisions through the final details of the home.

Miriam Peters

Peters Signature Homes, Inc.

Miriam Peters brings a cohesive design perspective to the residences created by Peters Signature Homes, Inc., connecting architectural vision with the interiors, materials, and furnishings that make a home feel personal.

Her approach balances beauty with everyday function, considering how each selection works within the home as a whole. Working alongside Nicholas and the build team, she shapes the finishes, textures, lighting, and the details that bring each room together.
